Rotary’s Eco-Friendly Initiative: The Clay Ganesha Workshop
The Clay Ganesha Workshop is one of Rotary Sarvam’s flagship projects, focusing on promoting eco-consciousness during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. This workshop teaches participants how to make Ganesha idols using Shadu clay, an environmentally safe and traditionally spiritual material. By leading this permanent project, Rotary Sarvam has successfully run the workshop for four consecutive years, with a growing number of beneficiaries learning the art of crafting their own idols.
For many children in India, poverty is a harsh reality that can have long-lasting effects on their health, education, and future opportunities. Without access to proper nutrition and education, these children may struggle to break the cycle of poverty and achieve their full potential. Charitable donations can provide these children with the resources they need to thrive, including access to nutritious meals, quality education, and other essential services.
Similarly, old age homes and orphanages in Ahmedabad provide a critical service to vulnerable members of society who may not have family or financial support.
